Lemon Lava Cake

If you’ve ever drooled over a chocolate lava cake, you absolutely must try a Lemon Lava Cake. Zesty, tangy and super saucy, this cake is guaranteed to knock your socks right off.

Stir the lemon juice for the cream with the sugar, the eggs and the salt. Cook for 5-6 min. on low heat with constantly stirring.

Add the butter and stir until homogenization. Then cool down for one night.

Beat the butter for the cake with the sugar. Add the eggs one by one.

Sprinkle with the flour and the grated lemon skin. Stir it until homogenization.

Grease the metal forms with butter and then sprinkle with sugar.

Put the cream into a posh with metal or plastic nozzle. Fill the forms to the half with dough. Put cream into the dough carefully, so that the forms are 1/3 full.

Bake for about 15 min. in preheat oven on 200 degrees with fan.

Pull them out and invert them.

  • For the cream:
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g cold butter
  • 110 ml lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sprinkle salt
  • For the cake:
  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g butter at room temperature
  • 80 g sugar (+ for sprinkle)
  • 2 eggs
  • the skin of ½ lemon

  7. Bake for about 15 min. in preheat oven on 200 degrees with fan.
  8. Pull them out and invert them.
  9. Advice: If you desire you can decorate with fresh fruits.
